Opening Of Regular Season To Be Pushed Back
Major League Baseball announced Monday that the start of the 2020 regular season will be pushed back even further following Sunday’s recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The Major League Baseball does not plan to start its season for at least another eight weeks and players are being urged to leave spring training sites and get to a place where they can spend "an extended period of time" and to get there "as soon as possible," commissioner Rob Manfred told the Post-Dispatch.

Derrick Goold Helps Organization CPR Certification After Saving Colleague's Life At Busch Stadium
The St. Louis Post Dispatch writer who saved a man's life by performing CPR on him at Busch Stadium last fall partnered with the American Heart Association and the St. Louis Fire Department to get more people CPR certified.

Thanksgiving Extra Special To Mike Flanary Who Nearly Died At Busch Stadium
St. Louis video photographer Mike Flanary has said the only reason he still is alive is because of the help of bystanders, led by Post-Dispatch baseball writer Derrick Goold, and medical personnel after he collapsed while suffering a heart ailment in September at Busch Stadium.

St. Louis Viewers, Media Hung In There For Epic Marathon
The game wore on. And on. Midnight became 1 o’clock in the morning. Then it was 2. And 3. Finally, at nearly 3:35 a.m. Wednesday in St. Louis, the Cardinals-Diamondbacks marathon in Phoenix that had begun 6 hours 53 minutes earlier was over. Arizona scored in the bottom of the 19th inning to win 3-2.
