Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run, one walk, one sac fly, and assisted in two double play.

Monterrey beat Aguascalientes 11-9

Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one RBI and two strikeouts.
