Unable to reach an agreement with two of their youngest and most prominent pitchers, the Cardinals imposed salaries on starter Jack Flaherty and reliever Jordan Hicks as part of finalizing contracts with 20 players Saturday.

The St. Louis Cardinals have their full 40-man roster under contract for the upcoming season as the team announced today their agreement with 20 players on one-year contracts for 2019. Pitchers Jack Flaherty and Jordan Hicks also had their contracts renewed.
