Former Cardinals Playing In Puerto Rican Double-A League 3-31-19: Juan Caballero Strikes Out 13 & Allows One Run Over Eight & A Third Innings For The Win; Juan Diaz Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Luis Montanez Singles, Doubles, & Knocks In One Run



Javier Machuca (former GCL-Lajas) started and pitched six innings.  He allowed six hits, five runs (four earned), five walks, and struck three out.

Luis Mateo (former Memphis-Fajardo) 1-for-3 with one double, one run, and two walks.

Las Piedras beat Fajardo 6-1 in game one of doubleheader

Las Piedras beat Fajardo 4-2 in game two of doubleheader

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Maunabo) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed ten hits, four earned runs, one walks, and struck eight out.

Maunabo beat Humacao 7-6 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Diaz (former Palm Beach-Yabucoa) 3-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one run.

Yabucoa beat San Lorenzo 7-3 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Caballero (former Johnson City-Salinas) started and pitched 8.1 innings.  He allowed five hits, one earned run, three walks, and struck 13 out for the winning decision.

Salinas beat Guayama 3-1 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Montanez (former Memphis-Anasco) 2-for-5 with one double, one RBI, and two strikeouts.

Anasco beat Aguada 10-8 in game one of doubleheader
