Former Cardinals Playing In Puerto Rican Double-A League 3-10-19: Ivan Maldonado Strikes Out Six & Allows One Run Over Five Innings For The Win



Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Dorado) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed three hits, one unearned run, and struck six out for the winning decision.

Dorado beat Guaynabo 7-1 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Caballero (former Johnson City-Salinas) started and pitched 4.1 innings.  He allowed five hits, six runs (five earned), five walks, and struck three out for the losing decision.

Lajas beat Salinas 6-1 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Montanez (former Memphis-Anasco) 1-for-3 with one strikeout.

Mayaguez beat Anasco 10-2 in game two of doubleheader

Juan Diaz (former Palm Beach-Cidra) 2-for-3 with one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Cidra beat Barraquitas 5-3 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Diaz (former Palm Beach-Cidra) 1-for-3 at the plate.
Javier Machuca (former GCL-Cidra) started and pitched 6.2 innings.  He allowed seven hits, three earned runs, two walks, and struck three out for the losing decision.

Barraquitas beat Cidra 3-0 in game two of doubleheader

Randy Ruiz (former MiLB signing-Aibonito) 2-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run, and one walk.

Aibonito beat Maunabo 6-4 in game two of doubleheader
