On October 31st, one of the best Cardinals of the 2010s signed a contract with the Washington Nationals. That’s surprising enough, on its face. How did the Cardinals let him get away?? What’s even more surprising to me is that there was no rending of garments in St. Louis. If you weren’t paying close attention, you might have not even seen the signing.
