Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-29-18: Cedric Hunter Doubles, Homers, & Drives In Three Runs In Doubleheader; Niko Vasquez Signles & Hits A Solo Home Run In Doubleheader; Zach Phillips Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one double, two two-out RBIs, and one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  2-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.

Mexico beat Leon 13-6 in game one of doubleheader

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted third.  1-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  0-for-3 with one strikeout and one fielding error.

Mexico beat Leon 4-2 in game two of doubleheader

Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Dos Laredos) started in right field and batted eighth.  0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

Aguascalientes beat Dos Laredos 1-0

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  2-for-4 at the plate.

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:10-6)

Monclova beat Saltillo 13-0
