Miles Mikolas last pitched on the Petco Park mound on July 31, 2013. Then a reliever for the San Diego Padres, he retired Cincinnati’s Chris Heisey on a fly ball to right in the ninth inning. Soon thereafter he was dispatched back to Class AAA Tucson, where he completed a season of 26 saves.
