You’ve heard of infield shifts in baseball. It’s that thing where teams put an extra infielder on the right side to mop up lefty-hitters prone to pulling the ball. We saw it a lot in St. Louis in Matt Adams’ day and opposing teams have had recent luck gobbling up Matt Carpenter’s rollers in that direction as well.
