Former Cardinals Playing in The Mexican League 5-18-18: Cedric Hunter Hits A Two-Run Homer; Pedro Rodriguez Strikes Out All Three Batters Faced For The Save; Rainel Rosario Doubles & Drives In One Run



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one home run, two two-out RBIs, one run, and one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Mexico beat Leon 11-7

Yefri Perez (former MiLB signing-Monclova) started in centerfield and batted leadoff.  2-for-5 with one RBI and two strikeouts.

Monclova beat Durango 3-2

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-5 with two strikeouts and assisted in one double play.

Aguascalientes beat Monterrey 7-3

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, one walk, and struck two out for the save (11).  (p-s:14-9)

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one run.

Laguna beat Saltillo 5-4

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Campeche) entered in the 11th and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck three out for the save (11).  (p-s:12-9)

Campeche beat Tabasco 10-9 in 11 innings

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at third base and moved to left field, batting second.  1-for-4 with one run, one walk, two strikeouts, and two throwing errors.

Tijuana beat Dos Laredos 12-4
