Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-17-18: Niko Vasquez Doubles, Walks, & Hits A Solo Home Run; Pedro Rodriguez Strikes Out Two Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Save; Ivan Bellazetin Singles & Walks Twice



Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at second base and batted second.  1-for-3 with one run, two walks, and assisted in one double play.

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  2-for-2 with one double, one home run, one RBI, one walk, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Leon 15-5

Yefri Perez (former MiLB signing-Monclova) started in centerfield and  batted leadoff.  0-for-4 with one walk and one strikeout.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one run and one strikeout.

Saltillo beat Monclova 10-3

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Campeche) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the save (10).  (p-s:11-8)(g/f:0-1)

Campeche beat Yucatan 4-2

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-3 and assisted in one double play.

Tijuana beat Aguascalientes 5-1
