Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 5-5-18: Josh Burgmann Strikes Out One Over Two Scoreless Innings; Matt Vierling Singles Twice & Drives In One Run; Jeremy Ydens Doubles



Josh Burgmann (former 2017 draft selection-Washington) entered in the eighth and pitched two innings.  He allowed one hit, no runs, two walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck one out.  (g/f:1-3)

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) starte second.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, and one sacrifice.

Oregon St beat Washington St 9-1

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the seventh and pitched to five batters.  He allowed two hits, two earned runs, and hit two batters.  (g/f:0-1)

UC Irvine beat Oregon 10-9 in 11 innings

Adam Kerner (former 2017 draft selection-San Diego) started at catcher and batted sixth.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Gonzaga beat San Diego 5-3

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one double and three strikeouts.

Arizona beat UCLA 6-3
