Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 5-4-18: Adam Kerner Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Kep Brown Singles, Walks Twice, & Scores Two Runs; Cadyn Grenier Singles Twice



Kep Brown (former 2015 draft selection-UNC Wilmington) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with two runs, two walks, and one strikeout.

UNC Wilmington beat James Madison 5-4 in 10 innings

Josh Burgmann (former 2016 draft selection-Washington) entered in the ninth and pitched to one batter.  He allowed one hit and no runs.

Arizona St beat Washington 4-3

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-6 with one run and two strikeouts.

Oregon St beat Washington St 17-3

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the eighth and pitched to three batters.  He allowed one hit and no runs.  (g/f:1-1)

UC Irvine beat Oregon 2-1

Adam Kerner (former 2017 draft selection-San Diego) started at catcher and batted eighth.  3-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one strikeout.

Gonzaga beat San Diego 13-3

Shane McCarthy (former 2017 draft selection-Seton Hall) started and pitched 6.2 innings.  He allowed ten hits, four earned runs, and struck six out for the losing decision (3-4).  (g/f:7-7)

Creighton beat Seton Hall 4-2

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-3 with one walk and one stolen base.

Arizona beat UCLA 3-1
