Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 4-6-18: Derek Casey Strikes Out Seven Over Nine Inning Complete Game Shutout Win; Cadyn Grenier Singles, Doubles, & Drives In Two Runs; Tristan Hildebrandt Singles, Walks, & Hits A Solo Home Run



Derek Casey (former 2014 draft selection-Virginia) started and pitched nine innings.  He allowed three hits, no runs, hit two batters, and struck seven out for the winning decision (4-2).  (p-s:112-83)(g/f:13-4)

Virginia beat Virginia Tech 9-0 in game one of doubleheader

Joe Gillette (former 2014 draft selection-Menlo) started at third base and batted third.  0-for-4 with one run, one walk, three strikeouts, and one error.

Menlo beat Arizona Christian 7-5

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  2-for-5 with one double, two RBIs, one run, and one strikeout.

Oregon St beat Arizona 6-2

Tristan Hildebrandt (former 2014 draft selection-Hope International) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  2-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, one run, one walk, and two strikeouts.

The Master's beat Hope International 7-6

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the seventh and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, two walks, hit one batter, and struck one out.  (g/f:2-1)

Oregon beat Washington St 2-1

Adam Kerner (former 2017 draft selection-San Diego) started at catcher and batted ninth.  1-for-3 at the plate.

Loyola Marymount beat San Diego 4-3

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in left field and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout.

UCLA beat Stanford 8-4
