Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 4-27-18: Adam Kener Doubles, Homers, & Drives In Five Runs; Jeremy Ydens Singles, Triples, Walks, & Knocks In Three Runs; Cade Cabbiness Walks & Hits A Two-Run Homer



Kep Brown (former 2015 draft selection-UNC Wilmington) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run, and one walk.

UNC Wilmington beat Elon 6-5

Cade Cabbiness (former 2016 draft selection-Oklahoma St) entered late in the game as designated hitter and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, and one walk.

Oklahoma St beat Oklahoma 8-0

Derek Casey (former 2014 draft selection-Virginia) started and pitched 6.2 innings.  He allowed eight hits, three earned runs, two walks, and struck six out for the losing decision (5-3).  (p-s:99-66)(g/f:(g/f:9-4)

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started at third base and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one run and one walk.

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in left field and batted leadoff.  2-for-4 with one triple, one home run, three RBIs, one run, and one walk.

UCLA beat Cal Poly 9-5
