Lefthander Tyler Lyons, strictly a reliever for the second consecutive after being a swing man for the Cardinals in his first three big-league seasons, had a solid season last year. He was 4-1 with his first three major-league saves and a 2.83 earned run average to go with 68 strikeouts in 54 innings.
