David Freese (former St. Louis-Pittsburgh) started at first base and batted sixth.  1-for-2 with one strikeout.
Eric Fryer (former St. Louis-Pittsburgh) started at catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-2 with one run.

Chicago-N and Pittsburgh tied 1-1 in six innings

Jon Jay (former St. Louis-San Diego) started in left field and batted second.  2-for-4 with one RBI, one run, and one sacrifice.

Los Angeles beat San Diego 9-4
