In 2013, Michael Wacha made a profound, glorious entry into the major leagues. There was the near no-hitter against Washington in late September. There was the classic, season-saving performance at Pittsburgh in Game 4 of the NLDS. There was Wacha’s sensational dominance over Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers in two NLCS starts. Simply incredible. All of it.
