The Cardinals outscored the Braves 31-13 as they won all three games at Atlanta in the first week of the regular season. The Cardinals out-homered Atlanta 6-0 in those games but everybody has been out-homering the Braves, who ranked last in the majors with 66 homers before Thursday night. But Atlanta might have rectified that deficit by acquiring Matt Kemp, who had 23 homers for San Diego.
