Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-4-16: Luis Garcia Singles Twice & Drives In One Run; Richy Pedroza Singles & Knocks In One Run; Eugenio Velez Singles Three Times & Doubles



Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Monclova) started in left field and batted leadoff.  4-for-6 with one double and was picked off.
Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the sixth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.  (p-s:8-5)(g/f:1-0)

Monclova beat Saltillo 5-4 in 11 innings

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  1-for-5 with one run and assisted in one double play.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-4 with one RBI, one run, one walk, and assisted in three double plays.

Aguascalientes beat Laguna 10-7

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  0-for-2 with two walks, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at first base and batted seventh.  0-for-2 with one, two walks, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Quintana Roo 5-3

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started at first base and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one RBI and one strikeout.
