Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts and assisted in two double plays.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  2-for-5 with one run and one throwing error.

Laguna beat Aguascalientes 6-4
