Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-9-16: Luis Garcia Collects Two Singles, One Walk, & Four RBIs; Niko Vasquez Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In Two Runs; Ivan Bellazetin Hits A Solo Home Run



Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted second.  2-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and assisted in one double play.

Oaxaca beat Tabasco 4-1 in game two of doubleheader

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Monclova) started in left field and moved to center, batting leadoff.  2-for-3 with one RBI, one run, three walks, and grounded into one double play.
Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the 11th and pitched to two batters.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, and one home run for the losing decision (2-4).  (p-s:4-3)(g/f:0-1)

Monterrey beat Monclova 8-7 in 11 innings

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and one throwing error.

Mexico beat Aguascalientes 9-2

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started as designated hitter and batted third.  3-for-5 with one double, two two-out RBIs, and one run.

Laguna beat Reynosa 12-2

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  2-for-2 with four RBIs (two w/two-outs), one run, and one walk.

Yucatan beat Carmen 10-2

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted sixth.  0-for-1 with two walks and allowed one stolen base.

Quintana Roo beat Campeche 4-1
