Quietly one of the most interesting parts of All-Star Week, the annual MLB All-Star Futures Game showcases baseball’s best prospects from across the minor-league levels, from toolsy teenagers in A ball to mid-20s sluggers on the cusp of the bigs. One game presents far, far too little evidence with which to properly evaluate baseball players, but the exhibition gives fans an early look at some guys who may soon emerge as big-league stars.
