Scouting report • The Texas Rangers are the only team never to lose at Busch Stadium — in the regular season. There is that matter, of course, of the Rangers losing Games 1, 6 and 7 here during the 2011 World Series. But there is no mistaking that the Rangers are the American League club with whom the Cardinals had the fewest activity. Texas swept a three-game series in 2013 and the Cardinals won one of three in Arlington, Tex., in 2004. ... Texas, which has the second-best record in the majors at 42-25, has won its last eight series as it has taken a 6½-game lead in the AL Western Division.
