Current & Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In Summer Collegiate Leagues 6-19-16: Jeremy Ydens Singles & Drives In One Run; Parker Kelly Singles In Doubleheader



Alaska Baseball League (Saturday):

Josh Rolette (former 2015 draft selection-Matsu) started at catcher and batted sixth.  0-for-2 with two walks and two strikeouts.

Joe Gillette (former 2014 draft selection-Anchorage) started in left field and batted third.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Anchorage beat Matsu 2-0

Cape Cod League:

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Falmouth) started at second base and batted eighth.  0-for-3 with one walk and two strikeouts.

Harwich beat Falmouth 1-0

Anthony Herron (former 2014 draft selection-Wareham) started and pitched 3.2 innings.  He allowed seven hits, four earned runs, two walks, and struck four out.  (p-s:75-42)

Wareham beat Orleans 6-5

Great West League:

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Medford) entered late in the game at first base and batted fifth.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Chico beat Medford 3-2 in game one of doubleheader

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Medford) entered late in the game at first base and batted eighth.  1-for-1 with one run.

Medford beat Chico in game two of doubleheader

Northwoods League:

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Madison) started in right field and batted fourth.  0-for-5 with one strikeout.

Green Bay beat Madison 9-2

West Coast League:

Jeremy Ydens (2016 draft selection-Wenatchee) started in centerfield and batted second.  1-for-4 with one RBI, one sac fly, and one stolen base.

Wenatchee beat San Francisco 7-3
