Angels Optioned Rafael Ortega To Triple-A Salt Lake

Angels left fielder Rafael Ortega, who had been receiving many of the everyday starts because of injuries to Daniel Nava and Craig Gentry, was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.
