Former Cardinals World Series hero David Freese will start a game in the Cardinals’ series with Freese’s Pittsburgh Pirates this weekend. It just wasn’t Friday’s game and he may not start Saturday, either, but Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said if that was the case, Freese surely would play Sunday in the series finale.
