Chicago and St Louis have not played since last October’s NLDS. As you will remember, the Cubs won the series in four games, thus forever increasing the hostile feeling between the two competitive cities and their fan bases. Losing both Jason Heyward and John Lackey as free agents to the hated Cubs proved to be too tough on some of the St Louis die-hards.
