Righthander Chris Carpenter, the 2005 Cy Young Award winner, and Joe Torre, the 1971 National League Most Valuable Player as a Cardinal and later elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, headed a group of four announced Friday night as members of the third class of the Cardinals Hall of Fame.
