2016 Cardinals Hall Of Fame: Chris Carpenter, Joe Torre, Terry Moore, & Sam Breadon

In a television special on FOX Sports Midwest this evening, the St. Louis Cardinals announced that Chris Carpenter, Joe Torre, Terry Moore and Sam Breadon will be inducted into the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame presented by Edward Jones on Saturday, August 27, at FOX Sports Midwest Live! in Ballpark Village. This is the third induction class since the team dedicated the Cardinals Hall of Fame with an Inaugural Class on Opening Day in St. Louis in 2014. The 2016 Induction Class was selected via a formal process which includes fans, baseball experts and the team.

Righthander Chris Carpenter, the 2005 Cy Young Award winner, and Joe Torre, the 1971 National League Most Valuable Player as a Cardinal and later elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, head a group of four men announced Friday night as members of the third class of the Cardinals Hall of Fame.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced this afternoon that Carpenter along with Joe Torre, Terry Moore, and Sam Breadon will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 27th.
