Yadier Molina took his first real, game-speed swings of the spring on Thursday at the Cardinals’ minor league complex. Molina, recovering from two off-season surgeries to repair ligament damage in his left thumb, had stood at the plate for a few at-bats in major league games, being called out on strikes three times and sacrificing in another trip to the plate.
