After coming up short on their ambitious bid for free-agent David Price, the Cardinals are heading back to the market for a starting pitcher. There’s been a lot of buzz about the Cards and righthander Mike Leake. I don’t know if this is based on actual interest by the Cardinals or is nothing more than harmless media matchmaking during the Hot Stove season.
