It’s been six months since Adam Wainwright ran out onto his home field, picked up the ball and toed the rubber for the St. Louis. As the bullpen gate opened in the middle of the seventh, the Busch faithful gave the 34-year-old hurler a standing ovation with rally towels waving and giving the veteran goosebumps.
