In front of my childhood home — Section 244, Old Busch — there was a walkway for fans and vendors. (“Anybody wanna sodee … and a free straw?”) The Birds played the Cubs one night, and as a Chicago fan walked by, my college buddy Drew, being my college buddy Drew, said to her in a joking voice: “Cubs (stink)!”
