In addition to De La Calle and Morales, MDC recruit Aaron Coates, a left-handed pitcher, was drafted in the 31st round by the St. Louis Cardinals. Coates turned down the Cardinals’ offer and has decided to work on his degree and play baseball at MDC before becoming eligible for the 2016 draft.
