Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-23-15: Luis Garcia Hits A Solo Home Run; Adam Reifer Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Save; Ivan Maldonado Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Win

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out for the winning decision (5-4).  (p-s:9-7)(g/f:0-1)

Reynosa beat Campeche 1-0

Shaun Garceau (former Springfield-Aguascalientes) started and pitched 4.1 innings.  He allowed five hits, five runs (three earned), three walks (one intentional), threw two wild pitches, and struck three out for the losing decision (1-2).  (p-s:93-59)(g/f:4-6)

Veracruz beat Aguascalientes 7-3

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted third.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted seventh.  0-for-2 with one sacrifice, one strikeout, grounded into one double play, and one catcher interference.

Quintana Roo beat Monclova 1-0

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, and two strikeouts.
Adam Reifer (former Memphis-Yucatan) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out for the save (18).  (p-s:11-8)(g/f:0-1)

Yucatan beat Laguna 5-2

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Saltillo beat Tabasco 9-0
