The Peoria Chiefs (27-31) are looking to shake off their 1-5 road trip in Michigan; unfortunately they won’t be rid of the state just yet as the West Michigan Whitecaps (29-29) come to town for a three-game series. The Chiefs are nine games behind Cedar Rapids for a first-half birth in the playoffs and time is running out as the Midwest League All Star Game inches closer.
