Mets Minor League right-handed pitcher Derrick Bernard has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a second positive test for a drug of abuse, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday. Because Bernard is already serving a 62-game performance-enhancing-drug suspension, his new one will not begin until that one ends.
