The Dodgers rotation has taken on a different look than what had been planned. Lefthander Hyun-Jin Ryu had shoulder surgery and righthander Brandon McCarthy had elbow surgery. In their places came Mike Bolsinger, who was 1-6 with Arizona last year but 3-0 with the Dodgers, and righthander Carlos Frias, who had been a swingman.
