With two games on the Gulf Coast side of Florida on back-to-back days, the Cardinals kept half of the roster overnight and split up the regulars to appear in one of the games.

After an abbreviated first Grapefruit League start on March 8th against the Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium, Lance Lynn is back on the bump. He draws the second half of this long road trip which has taken the Cardinals from Sarasota on Sunday (Orioles) to Fort Myers today (Red Sox).

Pitcher Lance Lynn returns to Grapefruit League action today as he starts for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers this afternoon. It will be the first game for the right-hander since he suffered a mild hip flexor strain in his first start on March 8th.
