Following today's game, the St. Louis Cardinals announced that they have optioned pitchers Nick Greenwood and Sam Tuivailala to the Memphis (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster pitchers Tim Cooney, Dean Kiekhefer, Zach Petrick and Miguel Socolovich to the Memphis team.
