Here we are, opening day for spring minor league baseball within the Cardinals organization. On Thursday, the Cardinals minor leaguers begin their minor league spring schedule playing a familiar foe, themselves. You see, the Baby Birds have limited opponents in the Mets and Marlins so when they play each other, the Cardinals have to keep it in-house.
