Over the last few weeks the St. Louis Cardinals have acquired a pair of utility-middle infielders and General Manager John Mozeliak has revised the team’s initial plan to acknowledge they are now unlikely to tender all of their arbitration-eligible players. So it is under that setting that Daniel Descalso could become a free agent by the end of today as the deadline for MLB teams to tender offers is tonight at 10:59pm CT.
