Speaking at his end-of-the season press conference three weeks ago, Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak loosely outlined the organization's offseason plans. With a returning rotation and minimal position-player turnover, the needs Mozeliak spoke of were mostly of a complementary sort. Of particular emphasis was the budding talent the Cardinals had to cover a hole in right field, therefore minimizing the need to add in this area.
