So, what do the Cardinals have planned for an encore?

Though they scored 10 runs in a Game 1 win, the Cardinals have tweaked their lineup because they will be facing a righty (Zack Greinke) tonight in Game 2. Jon Jay jumps back into the two-hole, while Kolten Wong makes his first career postseason start. Randal Grichuk, who homered in his first playoff at-bat on Friday, remains in the lineup as the Cardinals’ right fielder. Though his numbers against right-handers aren’t as impressive as they are against lefties, Grichuk put together some nice at-bats against righties late in the year and still provides the Cardinals with an above-average glove.

It has been nearly a full year–Game 4 of the World Series, October 27, 2013. Down by two runs with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning, rookie Kolten Wong was called on to pinch-run for Allen Craig. Instead of scoring to prolong the game, Wong was picked off at first base as his foot slipped trying to dive back into the bag.
