The Orioles have signed 18-year-old Dominican righthander Miguel Gonzalez for $400,000. Since Gonzalez is 18, he became eligible to sign two years ago, but his trainer, Rafael Montero (known as “Spilman”), has only been brining him to tryouts for the last couple of months.
