Giants Sign International Free Agent Jose Rivero
The Giants have signed 16-year-old Venezuelan shortstop Jose Rivero for $250,000. Rivero is a defensive-oriented player who’s fundamentally sound at shortstop with good hands and footwork, along with fringy speed.
