Texas Tech shortstop Tim Proudfoot (North Bend, Wash.) and right-handed pitcher Dominic Moreno (Farmington, N.M.) will return for their senior seasons after passing on opportunities to sign with Major League Baseball organizations with today’s 4 p.m. CT signing deadline for the 2014 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
