Former Cardinals Playing In NPB Action 6-1-14: Rainel Rosario Singles & Hits A Two-Run Homer; Jorge Sosa Pitches One Scoreless Inning For The Hold; Hector Luna Singles Twice & Doubles

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Hiroshima) started in left field and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, and one strikeout.

Brandon Dickson (former St. Louis-Orix) started and pitched 6.2 innings.  He allowed seven hits, two earned runs, two walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck six out for the losing decision (5-4).

Yomiuri beat Orix 2-1


Jorge Sosa (former St. Louis-Yokohama) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and one walk for the hold.

Yokohama beat Chiba Lotte 1-0


Hector Luna (former St. Louis-Chunichi) started at third base and batted fourth.  3-for-5 with one double, two runs, and one strikeout.

Chunichi beat Seibu 8-4
