The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that left-handed starting pitcher Jaime Garcia and right-handed reliever Jason Motte will join the Memphis Redbirds on injury rehabilitation assignments this homestand at AutoZone Park.

Pitchers Jaime Garcia and Jason Motte are moving another step closer to rejoining the St. Louis Cardinals as both will continue their rehab work in Memphis (AAA). The Redbirds tweeted the news Sunday evening that Garcia is now scheduled to start Monday in Memphis and Motte is also joining the team.
